“MA REQ” refers to a Massachusetts state requirement that all electric customers receive a set minimum amount of renewable electricity.

“MA Class I RECs” refers to Massachusetts Class I Renewable Energy Certificates. Part of the MA REQ requires suppliers to purchase a minimum of MA Class I RECs for customers.
