Customers who are automatically enrolled in the program are placed on the STANDARD (default) product.

The % of additional MA Class I RECs purchased each year is inversely related to the MA Req. As the MA Req % increases each year the purchase of additional MA Class I RECs decreases accordingly thereby maintaining a total of 100% MA Class I RECs throughout the contract term.

Rate includes (1) Consultant Services Fee of $0.0008 per kWh to facilitate Boston’s Community Choice Electricity Program and (2) Municipal Services Fee of $0.00017 per kWh to fund personnel costs for the Program.

Rate may increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the contract.

Term begins and ends on the days of the month that your meter is read in your service area.

At the end of each term a new rate and term will be determined.  It may or may not be with the same supplier. With each subsequent supplier/rate/term change, all consumers who were previously in the Program will remain in the Program.
